Introducing Broker (IB)

Introducing Broker (IB) Definition

Introducing Broker, commonly abbreviated to IB and is often confused with the broker called Interactive Brokers (also known as IB). Introducing Broker is a business term that is popular in the Forex and CFD trading world. It is used to define a relationship between a broker and a person or company who refers business to a broker for their own financial gain. IBs will have agreements with the broker which sets the terms and conditions for introducing business to the broker. Typically the broker will pay a commision or rebate to the IB and sometimes even include multi-level terms into the agreement in case one IB will refer another IB.

cTrader has it’s unique Partner Program which supports the IB relationship between broker and partner. To learn more you can check out our comprehensive guide to this feature.
