Active Symbol Panel

Active Symbol Panel Definition

The cTrader Active Symbol Panel or abbreviated to ASP is a term created by Spotware to name an area inside of the cTrader platform (web and desktop). This area is a panel on the far right section of the platform. While this area can be hidden by changing the viewing mode settings in the platform, it is shown by default. The Active Symbol Panel shows details about the symbol that is “active” or in focus. Inside of this panel, the details that are shown will change as the active symbol is changed. This panel is able to be linked to charts, so when the active symbol is changed, so are the linked charts. The panel shows a variety of details such as information about the trading pair, links to news, the Dynamic Leverage scheme, trading hours, Depth of Market and a new order ticket.
